Your fleet
Go to Space list (in game) when you want to view your space fleet. At this page you see all ships and orbitals that you own. If you have just joined a game you will see 2 colonizers in this list.
The list gives global information on your fleet. You can also disband your ships when you don't need them, or order ships to ignore hostile ships (by clicking on Fight). At the top of this screen you see a tab called Construction. You can read more about fleet construction here.
Going to your ships
There are 2 ways to get to your ships.
1). You click on a ship at the Space list (screen).
2). At the Galaxy screen you can click on the solar system your ship is located in(the colored dots).
In both cases you go to the solar system of your ship.
You can't go to ships that are in solar lanes, only disband them.
Sometimes your ships are in orbit of planets. Anything in orbit of a planet is displayed as a grey astroid on top of the planet. The planets in green are friendly (so are yours).
You can select a ship in 2 ways:
1). Click on it.
2). Click on the grid, click on space (below game menu), click on a ship listed on the right.
A context menu shows up when you have selected a ship. This menu shows the current status of the ship. Here you can also find the option "Plot course".
Plotting course
You can move your ships by using "Plot course". This option will be shown when you have selected a ship. When you click on "Plot course" the context menu shows all posible target types and the action you ship will perform. You will see a message : "Course plotted", when the course is compleet.
Colonizers have an extra option called "+colonize". With this option the ship will colonize the first empty planet you plot a course to, making you own the planet.
Invaders can take over hostile planets. This is done automaticaly when you tell an invader to go into orbit of a hostile planet. An invader can only invaded when the planet has no defences from the planet's owner. Your invader will "just" enter orbit if the planet has defence from the owner.
Navigating through lanes
Ships with lane drives can also plot courses through solar lanes. This is done by plotting course and then clicking on a solar lane. When you don't know the system behind the lane, your ship will plot a course to that system. In the other case you will see the system behind the lane (if you already know that system). If you see the next system you can continue plotting the the course to the next target. After plotting the ship will go to it's final destination.
